WHO WE ARE //

Golden Empire has been established as a major supplier to niche brands and retailers for over 20 years. Through its philosophy of working as a partner rather than a traditional manufacturer, GE is proud to be still working with their original founding customers.

As the demands and sophistication of the UK clothing industry have grown, so has the ability of GE to both respond & innovate to these changes.  The majority of yarns that we source, weave & manufacture are from recycled & sustainable sources. We are GRS certified, members of the Better Cotton Initiative & use BCI cotton as standard. We work with mills who are GOTS members & our jersey factory is certified by OCS (Organic Cotton Standard). We use branded certified cellulosic fibres, Ecovera, Lenzing & FSC certified Bamboo. We can offer full transparency & traceability from fibre to finished garment. We are Sedex Ethical Trade members & all our factories are SMETA audited.

GE is now not only a major supplier of Outerwear, Woven, Jersey, Knitwear but also one of the largest suppliers of wellington boots and Accessories to the UK.

GE has a Design & Sales office based in East London to assist customers in whatever capacity they require. With our highly experienced industry team we can advise & provide trend direction, colour forecasting, sustainable fabric sourcing, circular design advice, through to full design/development & technical help.
